Physiotherapist
Sheila believes the best care is client-centred and evidence-based, blending education, exercise, and manual therapy into a holistic treatment plan.
About Sheila
Sheila earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2011 and has been practicing since. She holds an advanced manual and manipulation diploma from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and a functional dry needling (IMS) certification, along with additional training in headache management, acupuncture, K-taping, diagnostic imaging and soft tissue treatment techniques. She's also worked closely with orthopaedic surgeons on post-operative care and assessment for knee patients.
Sheila works with a wide range of clients, from athletes training for their next mountain summit to people simply wanting to put on a jacket without pain. She's also active in mentorship, teaching physiotherapy and kinesiology students through multiple educational institutions.
Outside of work, Sheila spends her time chasing after her two boys, hiking, running, and camping.
