Dr. Jacalyn McDowell
Chiropractor
Dr. McDowell believes the body works as one connected system, not a collection of separate parts. That whole-body view shapes how she treats every patient who comes in.
About Dr.McDowell
She graduated valedictorian from Palmer College of Chiropractic (West Campus) in 2024, earning Magna Cum Laude honours and induction into the International Chiropractic Honor Society. She holds a bachelor's degree in Physical Literacy from Mount Royal University and is certified in Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab (FAKTR).
Dr. McDowell commonly works with patients looking for a functional, whole-body approach to care, often incorporating spinal manipulation, myofascial techniques such as cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), and restorative exercise. Patient education is central to how she practices. She makes sure every patient understands the purpose behind their care. Dr. McDowell's own experience with injury, including a broken femur and related foot injury, sparked her interest in chiropractic and its whole-body approach to movement and recovery.
Outside the clinic you can find her at the gym, down by the bow on walks with friends, or on the field playing recreational softball in the summers.
